The Exhibit by George Grunklee
A museum’s basic purpose is to showcase and enhance art and exhibitions. However, the Museum of Origami, located in Osaka, Japan, demonstrates that art is not always held within galleries, or even inside a building. Near an entrance, organic and classic form balance to frame a beautiful tree. Inside the frame, a reflection of the urban landscape becomes a live backdrop for the tree. The exhibit represents the idea that art can be found anywhere and has a willingness to alter over time.
